The law of nature says, ‘Everything has to reach an end for a new
beginning’.
For us when we were kids, cricket was always- ‘chalo bat
ball khelte hain’ and we played, enjoyed the Game. Then if a question comes to a
kid’s mind, ‘Whom you admire most'- it is always Sachin. People usually watch a
cricket match if Sachin is batting. And if he is out, TV’s - radios are turned
off. And then a long debate is started about His game at chaiwalas, panwalas
shops with no ends. From a kid to an old man, on roads, in houses everywhere is
only Sachin.
This dedication, love and passion for cricket are unique. It
is about giving a 100%, with no shortcuts and following the difficult
path without giving up in any circumstance. If you want to learn life, you must
see His attitude towards life; being positive and being humble to everyone you
meet, to respect your parents from the core of your heart which you can see in
His wet eyes.
We have had parties on a hundred; Sachin has gifted us every
time. I have seen people crying if Sachin is out or not performed well. I have
seen people dying to get His glimpse. Those crackers, those smiles and
happiness are in the world whenever Sachin hits a boundary.
A thank you is just not enough for what you have done for the
nation and for us.
We love you. We will miss your cricket and you will be in
our hearts till the world exists and beyond.
Sachin, thank you so much for all the happiness that is in
our life because of you. God bless you.
